LAAMT and EFG TV Team Up to Stream Student Eco Media

LAAMT and EFG TV student eco media

LAAMT and Exotic Fashion Global TV (EFG TV) announced a production and streaming partnership that will put student-created eco media in front of a national and international audience on connected-television platforms including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV.

The agreement gives Academy pathway completers and youth crews a professional home for finished work: recycling documentaries, community fashion films, Spark the Eco Cheetah interstitial stories, and short-form campaigns developed inside LAAMT classrooms and Gulf Coast field programs.

“Students should not wait years to be seen. If the story is ready, the screen should be ready.”

How the pipeline works

EFG TV will carry selected LAAMT titles inside its eco-media and community-storytelling slate. LAAMT will treat the channel as a living lab. Students learn not only how to shoot and cut, but how a piece moves from classroom review to a programmed stream with titles, rights language, and audience standards attached.

That last step is the point. Eco-Media Storyteller is a broader title than filmmaker because the work has to live in more than a festival file. A Roku slot, a mid-roll-ready short, and a classroom master are all part of the same craft.

First packages

The first packages in development include student recycling media, Mobile-based shorts supported by the Academy, and branded Eco-Media Storyteller interstitial work featuring Spark the Eco Cheetah. Additional community fashion and youth-media titles will follow as pathway cohorts complete work.

EFG TV streams at connected-TV destinations tied to Exotic Fashion Global’s media ecosystem. Inquiries about submitting student work through the Academy should go through LAAMT communications.
