LAAMT Executive Producer Katie Schultz Appoints Tre “Sykamoe” Williams President of Eco-Media Production
The Los Angeles Academy of Media & Technology (LAAMT) today announced that Executive Producer Katie Schultz has appointed Tre “Sykamoe” Williams as President of Eco-Media Production. In the new role, Williams will oversee all of the Academy’s newly formed Eco-Media Storytelling developments — spanning original programming, educational pathways, live and streamed events, and the growing Eco-Media creator community.
Williams, an Alabama-based media entrepreneur, technologist, and the creator of Spark the Eco Cheetah — LAAMT’s brand ambassador and mascot for the Eco-Media Filmmaking niche — will report to Schultz and work across LAAMT’s Los Angeles and Gulf Coast initiatives.
“Tre brings a rare combination of storyteller, builder, and steward. He understands that Eco-Media is not a genre — it is a way of making media that honors community, culture, and a cleaner world. Appointing him President of Eco-Media Production formalizes the work he has already been doing with Spark, our Mobile projects, and the next generation of Eco-Media Storytellers.”
— Katie Schultz, Executive Producer, LAAMT
What the role covers
Williams will guide development of Eco-Media slate items connected to LAAMT Studios and related institutes, including support for two film projects based in Mobile, Alabama, in partnership with the Academy. He will also continue to advance Spark the Eco Cheetah as the public face of Eco-Velocity storytelling — a character-driven ambassador for sustainable fashion media, youth pathways, and community eco-narrative.
“Eco-Media Storytelling is how we prepare the next generation — not only as filmmakers, but as storytellers across film, podcasts, photography, books, social, documentary, animation, and live experience. I am honored to serve under Katie’s leadership and to help LAAMT turn this vision into production pipelines, educational titles, and stories that travel from the Gulf Coast to Los Angeles and beyond.”

About Tre “Sykamoe” Williams
Williams is a technical entrepreneur, media producer, and community founder whose work joins sustainable fashion, streaming, film, faith-based civic work, and applied AI. He is the founder and lead of Exotic Fashion Global, the 2026 rebrand of EXOTIC Fashion, Adventure & Travel Magazine, established in 2005 in Rio de Janeiro as a bilingual print publication with U.S. distribution.
The platform now operates as a full ecosystem: sustainable fashion media, runway and events, film production through OnePro Filmworks & Marketplace, and streaming on Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Google TV via Exotic Fashion TV / EFG TV. Original programming in development includes Surviving Exotic Fashion Brazil, slated for early 2027.
On the Gulf Coast he is founding Big Mission Church of Mobile, a nonprofit religious corporation organized in Alabama with a mission of uniting in love for a cleaner world. That civic and environmental frame aligns with LAAMT’s recommended niche of Eco-Media Storytelling and the Certified Eco-Media Storyteller pathway.
About LAAMT
The Los Angeles Academy of Media & Technology prepares the next generation of Eco-Media Storytellers. The Academy prefers that title over a narrower “filmmaker” designation, recognizing work across films, podcasts, photography, books, social media, documentaries, animation, and live events.
